Fall
2003 Training Schedule
Our
goal is to build soccer skills and knowledge, beginning
with the technical drills of passing, receiving, dribbling
and shooting, and progressing through the tactics of
the transition game and team play. As the girls mature,
we will place more emphasis on physical dimension, such
as strength, endurance, and speed, in addition to growing
concentration and confidence.
Practice
is vital to player growth and development, and participation
is important! It not only helps to develop the physical
skills needed to play soccer, but also the social skills
and mental attitudes needed to participate and succeed
in life. Players are expected to attend each practice
session on time and ready to play. Game
playing time will be based on practice performance and
skill level. Below you will find the team-training
and practice schedule for the fall season. If a player
cannot attend a practice or other team events she is
expected to call Coach Walton or Coach Cartier before
hand and leave a message explaining her absence. (See
team roster for contact information).
